We believe the Bible to be the very inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, written by men under the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The bible is totally true, reliable, and authoritative for all matters of life; the Word of God will stand forever, and as such gives perfect guidance and hope to those who trust it and apply it in their lives.

 

“There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. God is all powerful and all knowing; and His perfect knowledge extends to all things, past, present, and future, including the future decisions of His free creatures. To Him we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.”

Jesus Christ is the One and Only Son of God – the human manifestation of God who lived in this world and died as a sacrifice for our sin. Through Him only are we able to be saved and have a relationship with God. He is the only way to heaven and in Him there is abundant life to be had by all who believe in Him and on His name.

 

The Holy Spirit is the very real presence of God who indwells those who believe in Him and have been saved by Him. “He enables men to understand truth. He exalts Christ. At the moment of salvation, He baptizes every believer into the Body of Christ. He cultivates Christian character, comforts believers, and bestows the spiritual gifts by which believers serve God through His church. He seals the believer until the day of final redemption. His presence in the Christian is the guarantee that God will continue to work in the life of the believer transforming the old person into the character of Jesus Christ.”
